At Resting Zen Face, we believe in the power of mindfulness, mental wellness, and healing. Our community is here to raise awareness about mental wellness, provide compassionate support, and offer tools to help people find balance long before a crisis occurs.

I learned that mental health struggles don’t discriminate. They can affect anyone, no matter how strong or successful they appear. What I didn’t realize then, but understand deeply now, is that I wasn’t broken—I was unwell. What I needed was support, not shame. Mindfulness and healing became the tools that helped me find my way back.

It’s because of my experience that I launched Resting Zen Face. Our mission is to raise awareness about mental health, promote mindfulness, and offer the kind of support that people need before they reach a crisis. Helping others see that mental health struggles are not a weakness but a challenge that calls for compassion, understanding, and supportive resources can make a profound difference. It's about fostering awareness and creating space for healing through kindness and connection.

At Resting Zen Face, we are committed to creating a community where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to prioritize their mental wellness. Everyone deserves access to the support they need—whether navigating a personal challenge or simply working to maintain their mental wellness. Through community, resources, and wellness-focused tools, we strive to be a part of that journey for everyone.

Together, we can build a world where mental health is treated with the same care and understanding as physical health. We can foster compassion, raise awareness, and create healing spaces for all who need it.

Join us in our mission to change the narrative around mental health.

Together, we can make a difference.

In mindfulness,

My name is Kari Fraser, and I know firsthand how fragile life can be. I remember the day I walked past  a homeless man sitting on the ground, on my way to a business meeting. As I passed by, he looked up at me and said, “I used to be just like you.” At that moment, I couldn’t imagine how someone with my career and confidence could ever end up in his position. But life teaches us hard lessons, and not long after that, I found myself facing my own mental health struggles.

When everything I thought was stable—my relationships, my career, my sense of self—began to unravel, I felt lost. I didn’t understand what was happening, and I couldn’t fix it the way I had always been able to solve other problems. I thought I was broken, weak, and hopeless. It was a terrifying experience, but it was also the start of my journey toward healing.
